Payment Methods

1. Scope.

This page describes the payment methods available for orders placed on the aresshield.ro website, operated by ARESSHIELD S.R.L..

This page must be read together with the Terms and Conditions, the Delivery Policy, the Returns Policy and the Privacy Policy.

2. Available payment methods

For orders placed on aresshield.ro, the following payment methods are available:

• Online payment by bank card (via Shopify Payments);
• Cash on delivery (payment on delivery, to the courier).

The available payment methods are clearly displayed on the checkout page and may change over time, depending on the commercial and technical settings of the site.

3. Online payment by bank card (Shopify Payments)

Online payment by bank card is processed securely through Shopify Payments, the integrated payment solution offered by the Shopify platform, which uses authorized payment service providers (such as Stripe) to process transactions.

3.1. Accepted cards and methods

Through Shopify Payments, the following may be accepted, depending on availability:

• Visa / Visa Electron;
• Mastercard / Maestro;
• Apple Pay;
• Google Pay;
• other payment methods expressly displayed on the checkout page.

3.2. Payment security

• Bank card data (card number, expiry date, CVV/CVC code) is entered directly into Shopify Payments' secure pages and is not stored, accessed or processed directly by ARESSHIELD S.R.L.;
• Transactions are protected by advanced security protocols (SSL/TLS) and may include additional 3D Secure authentication mechanisms, depending on the card issuing bank;
• ARESSHIELD S.R.L. receives only information about the transaction status (accepted / declined), with no access to sensitive card data.

3.3. Time of payment and order confirmation

• The order amount is authorized and/or debited when the online payment is completed, according to the rules of the issuing bank and Shopify Payments;
• The order is considered valid and is processed only after payment is confirmed;
• If payment is declined or is not completed successfully, the order will not be processed.

4. Cash on delivery

Cash on delivery means paying the value of the order directly to the courier when the products are delivered.

• The amount to be paid is the one displayed in the order confirmation email and on the tax documents;
• Payment can usually be made in cash; in certain cases, the courier may allow payment by mobile card (POS), depending on its policy;
• In case of unjustified refusal to accept and pay for the parcel, ARESSHIELD S.R.L. reserves the right to refuse subsequent cash-on-delivery orders or to require advance payment.

5. Prices, taxes and invoicing

All prices displayed on the site are expressed in RON (lei) and include the applicable taxes under the legislation in force at the time the order is placed.

Before completing the order, the customer can check:

• the price of the products;
• any discounts applied;
• the delivery cost;
• the total amount to be paid.

A tax document (invoice) will be issued for each order, sent in electronic format and/or included in the parcel, as applicable.

6. Refunds in case of returns

In cases of accepted returns, amounts will be refunded:

• using the same payment method used initially, in the case of online payments;
• by bank transfer (IBAN indicated by the customer), in the case of cash-on-delivery orders or if the parties so agree.

7. Protection of payment data

The processing of personal data related to payments is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy and with the applicable data protection legislation (GDPR).

8. Changes to payment methods

ARESSHIELD S.R.L. reserves the right to change, add or remove payment methods, the applicable version being the one displayed on the checkout page at the time the order is placed.
